David Beech is co-founder and Director of Cambridge Leadership Development. David is an Organizational Psychologist, his area of expertise is leadership and organization development, in which he has over 25 years international experience.
In 2003 he co-founded Cambridge Leadership Development (previously known as The Leadership Organization), where he focuses on leadership and executive development. His focus is designing and delivering a broad spectrum of development programmes for a wide range of clients; most recently including Bayer, Saint-Gobain, BBC, Glaxo-Wellcome, Ecolab, EMLYON Business School, Novartis, NHS, L’Oreal and Oracle.
Dr. Beech has formerly served as Client and Programme Director for Leadership and Organization Behaviour with Ashridge Business School; Principal Consultant in Organizational Effectiveness for Hewitt Associates, working on a range of culture change projects in Europe and the USA; and at SHL, designed and delivered Assessment and Development Centres for the boardroom to frontline management.
David held managerial and executive roles in Organization Development and Human Resource Management with Unilever, Siemens, Duracell, and Nashua, beginning his career as a seaman officer in the British Royal Navy.
He holds a DPhil in Social Psychology from the University of Sussex, MSc in Organizational Behaviour from the University of London, and a BSc in Philosophy, Psychology and Sociology.
Angela Sherrington is co-founder and Commercial Director of Cambridge Leadership Development.
She has worked as a consultant and executive coach since 1997, and has been helping people and organizations to thrive in the private and public sectors.
Angela specialises in executive coaching with a focus on developing leadership potential and increasing personal effectiveness, working with a wide range of different client groups, including senior executives, high potential and graduate groups and a variety of individuals in career transition.
Other work involves developing learning and development initiatives for middle to senior, and executive management.
Angela draws on her experience as a marketing manager in the IT sector for Lotus Development and Madge Networks, and as a partner in Sherrington Grant to provide clients with pragmatic, solution-oriented approaches grounded in “having been there.” Her belief is that we learn best by doing.
She holds a BSc in Mathematics and Economics from the University of Surrey.
